We perform over 100 antimicrobial susceptibility tests (MIC) each year for both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.
-
-
-
We conduct thorough assessment of antimicrobial production by disc diffusion method, following JECFA guidelines.
-
-
-
Our laboratory performs in vitro cytotoxicity tests with Vero cells, as recommended by EFSA.
-
-
-
We successfully verify the absence of cells in fermentation products according to appropriate principles and EFSA requirements.
-
-
-
Our team tests the presence of DNA in fermentation products with strain-specific PCR and according to EFSA requirements.
-
-
-
We conduct pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) to verify the presence of a specific microbial feed additive in nonsterile materials.
-
-
-
We have developed and validated in vitro efficacy methods to cover the various effects that microbial feed additives can have on feed products.
-
-
-
By using SDS PAGE, we obtain an overview of food enzymes for regulatory purposes, while looking for their purity and batch-to-batch variations.
-
-
-
We use the bacterial reverse mutation test (Ames) to successfully assess genotoxicity in food and feed products, additives, enzymes, and more.
-
-
-
We can provide a Biogenic Amine Analysis based on a bioinformatic search of the genome, as well as a laboratory in vitro analysis of BA production.
-
-
-
Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) couples amplification of a DNA sequence with quantification of the concentration of that DNA species.
