Schedule: Samples should arrive at Biosafe as follows: strain(s) at the latest on the commencing week 5 and the supernatants samples only on week 7. Test on week 8.

Samples: Viable test strain OR the test strains' supernatant samples in triplicate (6h cultivation in BHI broth, at 30 degrees °C) and the BHI broth as the negative control in duplicate. The negative control should be cultivated in similar conditions as test strain's supernatant samples.*
*If the strain is sent instead of supernatants, the strain will be cultivated on trypticase soy agar (TSA) before the analysis. If the strain needs to be cultivated on another medium, it will be invoiced separately (€500 - €1,200, depending on the used plate type).
