Pauliina Halimaa, Biosafe’s Managing Director, and Liisa Rimpiläinen, Biosafe’s Business Development Manager, will attend the EFIB'22 summit.
On October 26 and 27 the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, is hosting the European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology & the Bioeconomy 2022 (EFIB’22) under the title Next generation economies: Industrial biotechnology for a sustainable society.
EFIB will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, and investors.
Now in its 15th year, EFIB will be dedicated to the innovation and commercial delivery of industrial biotechnology, how it contributes to transforming sectors in the bioeconomy and addresses consumer choices and needs.
The conference will network and showcase more than 500 delegates from the industry of all sizes, from start-ups with the next transformative technology to multi-national producers scaling up to meet global demand for sustainable and novel products across sectors.
EFIB’22 will be aimed at high-level life sciences executives, biotechnology enterprises, and EU policymakers. Upon the event’s conclusion each year, the European Commission receives an official statement of the sector’s position on areas that need more focus, recommendations for EU activities to fund and promote, and general ideas for policy improvements.
We are looking forward to meeting and sharing thoughts with the larger biotechnology community, including the researchers, policymakers, academia, regulators, global organisations and local leaders that build the framework for a sustainable society.

Meet us on 26–27 October in Vilnius, Lithuania!
